Principal Software Engineer at TEO International

I take Android apps from concept to post-launch support. Most of my work sits where reliability matters: money moving through a payment flow, or a farmer checking prices in a field with no network.

I structure apps with MVVM and Clean Architecture so they stay testable as they grow, and I set up the CI/CD, quality gates and release process that keep them shippable.

  1. Aug 2024 – Present

    Principal Software Engineer, Android

    TEO International, Islamabad

    • Lead native Android development of REEFT for a Denmark-based client, across design, build, testing and release.
    • Built REEFT to work fully offline, so users get its key functions with no network connection.
    • Structure the codebase with Kotlin, MVVM and Clean Architecture to keep it modular, testable and easy to maintain.
    • Review code, fix bugs and remove performance bottlenecks to keep quality high release after release.
  2. Dec 2022 – Aug 2024

    Software Engineer, Android & Backend

    ArpaTech (Pvt.) Ltd, Islamabad

    • Built the Caremiles Android app in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose with MVVM, Clean Architecture, Coroutines and Kotlin Flow.
    • Integrated Stripe for secure in-app payments.
    • Set up CI/CD with Bitbucket Pipelines and SonarQube quality gates, automating builds and catching issues before release.
    • Wrote unit tests to raise code quality and keep regressions out of production.
    • Built backend APIs in Node.js, Express and Sequelize on MySQL and PostgreSQL, and contributed to React Native and Flutter apps.

    • Developed the Bakhabar Kissan app for crop management, weather, market prices, loans, livestock and machinery, usable online and offline.
    • Developed Telenor’s Khushaal Watan app, giving farmers localized farming content, weather updates and calls with agriculture and livestock experts.
    • Built the Jazz MAgri field-agent app in Flutter (MVVM, GetX, Provider) to record farmers’ produce and loan transactions.
  4. Sep 2019 – Mar 2021

    Reactive Space (Pvt.) Ltd, Islamabad

    • Built Tyslin Exchange, a crypto trading app with real-time market prices and an embedded multi-coin wallet to send, receive and manage digital money.
    • Built Pro Guide, an exam-prep app for CSS, FPSC, PPSC and PMS candidates with MCQs, eligibility checks, forums and note sharing.
    • Built FQE and shipped all three apps to Google Play.
